| Comments: This tree is quite unique. Its species is uncommon this far East. It was ordered by mail and planted as a seedling by the owners shortly after they occupied this residence in the early 1950's. (They have a "#3inVA" Dawn Redwood in their backyard, too!) Both trees are well-admmired and protected. | |

| Directions: From I-66, take the exit for Rte. 28 South to Manassas. Rte. 28 becomes Church St. as one enters "Old Town Manassas." Stay on Church St. through the intersection with Rte. 234. Take the next right turn onto Peabody St., and go a couple of blocks to #9209. Blue Ash is on the right side, in the front corner of a wooden, backyard fence. |
